Group Build Day Opportunities

Habitat for Humanity Hamilton’s exclusive Group Build Day Program is designed for corporate and community groups looking to come together for a day of team building and home building at one of our construction sites. Your volunteer efforts, combined with the financial contribution you’ll provide to participate, doubles your group’s impact.

By the end of your group’s exclusive Build Day, your group will be connected with one another and the community, in a truly unique way. The satisfaction of a tangible volunteer experience will leave your group motivated, exhilarated and ready to take on the next challenge! Plus, you can rest assured knowing that 100% of your monetary contribution will be allocated towards Habitat Hamilton’s Home Build Program.

Habitat Hamilton partners with a diverse range of corporate, community, faith-based and educational groups, to build common ground by sharing our vision of a world without poverty housing.

We’ll support you every step of the way to ensure that your Group Build Day goes off without a hitch! We provide complimentary build day t-shirts, steel-toed boots for the day and a hearty lunch. We’ll assist with your registration and provide tips on fundraising (if that’s how your group plans to raise the necessary funds). When your Group Build Day arrives, we’ll greet and host your team on site, providing up-to-code safety training and skills training to make sure that your day is nothing short of exceptional.

A typical Group Build Day begins at 8:30am and can accommodate a group of up to 15 people.
